General Workout Specs
Each (water or non-water) workout is customized from 65 parameters
provided by the swimmers/coaches (swim times, thresholds, anthropometrics,
pool type, season plan etc.).
We deliver for each set:
Swim Action (over 430)
Action Videos
Action Execution Description
Set Data (Set Reps, Reps, Dist Rep)
Swim Interval
Rest Interval
Heart Rates
Set Remarks (descend, broken, pyramid, no breath, etc. up to 47)
Set Data Remarks (numeric data relative to line above)
Each parameter above individually computed for each swimmer/pool/workout
All programs are based upon the seven category energy system:
REC - Warm Up / Recovery
En1 - Basic Endurance (A & B)
En2 - Threshold Endurance (A & B)
En3 - Overload Endurance
Sp1 - Lactate Buffering
Sp2 - Lactate production
Sp3 - Power
This whole plan is based upon writing "proportionate" or "parametric"
workout programs that are converted into absolute measures at the time of
delivery (for an individual or group). The underlying thrust of a workout is
to overload different swimming speed causing systems within a certain master
plan. If we can not only automate the final "personalization", but also the
translation of basic overload concepts into detailed intensity and rest data
for sets/reps, the workout writing procedure can be very simple indeed.
The information delivered in each workout is comprised of sets, and each
set consists of:
A Swim Action (over 430)
